footers in word starter

Hi,

I have word starter and when I want to write a footer for just that page. Word makes the same footer (content wise) for all pages. How do I have seperate footers for each page?

Thanks

Nicole

Answer
Answer
That's the way headers and footers work; they repeat on every page. But headers and footers are a section property; to confine a footer to a specific page, you'll need to insert Next Page section breaks to set the page off from the preceding and following pages. You'll then also need to unlink the footer in that section from the preceding one and following ones. For more, see http://WordFAQs.mvps.org/HeaderFooter.htm.
