Word tables - Overlapping footer and strange compression

Hi there - I hope you will be able to help me

I use Office 2010 - I have a word table that is misbehaving.

It is doing two strange things:

at the bottom of the page, it overlaps the footer

when editing and I add extra lines, instead of funding webpage break it is automatically, it compresses the table lines over each other. See below.

Make sure that the text wrapping on the table (Table Properties | Table) is None rather than Around and that you don't have too many rows not allowed to break and formatted as "Keep with next." Your screen shot shows that there are actually two tables involved, with no space between them, which suggests that one might be wrapped.

OTOH, if you are in Web Layout view (your reference to "webpage break"), then you would see pages displayed continuously. And if the problem is just that you are not seeing the header and footer (in Print Layout view), then it could be that you have white space suppressed; see http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/WhiteSpace.htm.
