Mixed TOC page numbers in Word 2010

I have a TOC that needs the page number and dot leader on most of the level one lines, but not all of them since some of them have level two lines that make the page number and dot leader redundant. Is there any way to make this work since I can't get the TC \n to work? Is there maybe a way to create another level that looks like the level one without the dot leader and page number?
Answer
Answer
There is no way to suppress page numbers for a given level selectively. And the only way to use a different TOC style for given Heading 1s would be to change the outline level of those specific headings. Unfortunately, the outline level for headings using the built-in heading styles cannot be changed. You'll need to either include page numbers for all TOC 1s or omit them for all.
