Gridline not shown in the background

I know how to enable or disable the gridline by checking gridline under the tab VIEW or the tab Pageout > align

but with particular documents

I still cannot see the gridline

Please help

In the file where you can't see the grid, what are the settings for gridlines at Page Layout | Align | Grid Settings?

Alternatively, the document grid may be hidden by a text box or shape on the page.

The screen shot you show includes a table. If the table cells were filled with a white fill, you would not see the gridlines in the table. Do you see them outside the table?

Since you're looking at a table, it may be that it is the table gridlines you actually want to see. If that's the case, you need to instead enable View Gridlines in the Table group on the contextual Table Tools | Layout tab.
