Document w/full page background picture changes to many small tiles when converting to PDF.

How do I get it to convert as a full page picture?

This is a known issue and happens when you print to a physical printer as well. Instead of using a page background, insert your picture manually as follows:

  1. Double-click in the header area to open the header.
  2. Insert your picture.
  3. Set the wrapping to Behind Text.
  4. If necessary, change the size so that it fills the page.
  5. Set the position as Top Relative to Page and Left Relative to Page.
