I am using MS WORD 2010 (in a Korean language version)
Whenever I try to add a space bar before the first word in already typed sentences, WORD automatically indents. How can this be turned off or prevented?
For example,
Four score and seven years ago.
Four score and seven years ago.
When I insert a space bar before "Four" the sentence is indented.
It is almost certainly an autoformat as you type action.
File > Options > Proofing > Autocorrect Options. Autoformat as you Type > Set Left and First Indent with tabs and backspaces. You can probably uncheck most of the stuff in that dialog - certainly all the actions that you don't want to happen automatically (especially
those in the middle grouping and define styles based on your formatting).
