Where do I find Microsoft Word and Spreadsheet on Windows 7

Microsoft Office is not included with Windows 7, you have to buy and install it separately.

If you do have it, there should be a Microsoft Office entry in Start > All Programs.

I am really "ticked" for I specifically instructed our IT agent when new computer - Windows 7 - was purchased that we required Microsoft Works installed.

Don't blam IT. Microsoft is no longer making Works. Works 9, the last version, is offered on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-070-03545-Works-9-0/dp/B000Q6ZK3K) but not by Amazon, and if you look at the sellers that are offering it New, you might be hesitant.

Our IT guy should have told us that!

We made a big mistake in purchasing our computer (Windows 7) from the company that we chose.  The IT dept. with that company presumed that we were computer 'geeks' and only needed the computer for shopping/music/etc.  In fact we do accounting/ spreadsheets for charities as well as download photographs for a our local small community (non-profit).  When we telephone the IT dept. they were of almost no help at all; in fact they got very abrupt with us when we asked certain questions.  I certainly would not recommend them to anyone.
