How do I turn off "link" "pop ups" off that shows the link url etc.

When a customer clicks on links that I place in my sales page and my ebook,, a pop-up appears on the screen that shows the url and other data that I don't want displayed to my customer.

How do I turn these pop ups off? I already turned off Two Clicks (control and click) but I want to turn off this pop-up completely as previously mentioned.

Thanks

Answer
Answer

You don't. These are local settings that you can change on your machine, but this will have no effect on the settings on the customer's machine. What you can do is customize the ScreenTip. In the Hyperlink dialog, there are three components of a hyperlink: the text that is displayed, the underlying URL or other address, and the ScreenTip. Note that the ScreenTip will still display "CTRL + click to follow link" following whatever text you specify.

Also, unless your document is protected, your customer can right-click on the hyperlink and choose Edit Hyperlink and thus see the actual URL.
