Samsung Magician software doesn't recognize Windows 10, wont initialize RAPID mode

That is something that Samsung needs to address.  I have the same problem.  I suspect they will not address it until win 10 is released to the public.

You need to get the previous version of Samsung Magician and don't allow it to update to 4.5.  4.4 recognizes Win 10 as  Win 8 and allows Rapid Mode.   Everything works as advertised for me.

I installed Magician 4.5 over top of 4.4 while Rapid is enabled and Rapid continues to works fine in 4.5, untill you disable it.  Then you have to uninstall and install 4.4 again to get Rapid started up again.  

4.5 is supposed to have algorithm enhancements and changes to make it compatible with win8.1. 

I tried to install magician 4.4 but unfortunaly it doesn't recognize my 850evo .

Wonder why 4.4 doesn't recognize it for you.   I've read that Magician wont work with some chipsets until v4.5.  Which may be your snafu.

If you have cloned windows 10 onto the ssd..  might try running from a command prompt (admin) WinSAT Formal  which is supposed to somehow cause win10 to correctly recognize SSD's and configure them appropriately.

Another thing worthy of a try maybe is if you have an intel chipset that uses the intel RST - Rapid Storage Technology ? Try a different version of RST maybe.   Lower versions seem best from what I've read and what I've experienced too.  RST Version 11.2.0.1006 seems to be newest that uses iaStor.sys, newer versions use an iaStoreA.sys which seem to slow it down.    Anyhow it relies on the AHCI driver so update it or try a different version..  in Device Manager.  

Thank you for your help, but i think that the problem is that the 85evo is not recognize by samsung magician 4.4 . 

With magician 4.5 i don't have any problem.

The release notes of 4.5 add support for the 850evo so i don't think to have problems with drivers of my mainboard, don't you think ?

I'm running 10074 and my 850 EVO w/ Samsung Magician 4.5/4.6 does not detect the OS properly to enable RAPID mode.

Are there any tricks?

Magician 4.4 does work in 10122 and 10125,  4.5 does not, 4.6 does if on a clean installed 10122
