Xbox Microsoft points are not working

Points aren't working while proceeding on account Xbox live its not letting me buy the game with the Xbox Microsoft point? It's says there's a problem with the Xbox service.

The Ghost Elven, I am having a similar problem and i have the error codes. i have also made a forum post but no responses so far.

This may be an issue with billing and purchase information being mistakenly locked for both of you. I've had this occur on my own profile. Try contacting Xbox support at www.support.xbox.com/contact-us and explaining the issue in as much detail as possible. They will have to route you to a specialist but you will be taken care of :)
