Thirteen Ghosts / Xbox Hive
We are a multi gaming xbox 360 community of mature gamers from all over the UK. Formed in 2004, we have grown to be for our policy on mature gaming. Our aim is to provide the best experience for our members both in game and on our premier forums.
In 2004, Darth Phatboy formed The Thirteen Ghosts Clan. This clan is well known within military games, expecially Ghost Recon, for its close knit grouping of like-minded gamers, keen to have as much fun as possible on the Xbox 360. They have competed at the highest level on various gaming sites within GRAW2, Rainbow Six, Call of Duty and other games, but never has it been a win or die attitude.
Because of this, The Thirteen Ghosts have formed some of the strongest bonds between players and many are great friends even beyond Xbox Live. Their motto: "Forward as One" is widely regarded today and an indication of the brotherhood mindset that was the start of The Xbox Hive.
With great support from Ultra Nutter (Alex), Darth was able to expand on his ideas for a mature gaming website by creating The Xbox Hive....the buzzing Xbox Community.
Darth planted The Thirteen Ghosts in the middle of this and encouraged others to enjoy the feeling of being part of something special and sharing common ground on the Xbox 360. And, while The Thirteen Ghosts remain at the heart of The Hive, the site has grown into a self sufficient community of mature gamers enjoying bespoke tournaments, expanding forums and fresh ideas from ALL involved!
Most of us are casual gamers with families who enjoy each others company across many games. Although we have teams who love clan matches, we regularly relax into non-competitive game sessions amongst ourselves. In fact, ForzaGP.com is a unique competition only available to members of our community.
We also have real life meet ups, usually twice a year, at events such as Warfighters and are always keen to arrange other events to encourage us to get together and have a beer!
