San Andreas Issue

I can see several people are having issues playing original Xbox games as do I. I recently purchased GTA: Sand Andreas from the Marketplace and I've done everything in power to find a solution including every step given by other players, calling for support, and emailing for support. I have the oppropriate sized HDD harddrive and I have a new Xbox 360 slim (if that may play a role) and once starting the game after downloading I get an error message telling me the game has failed to start and that I should download it again. Like I've said before I followed every step and It's making me realize that maybe I'm not the one with the problem.

Offical hard drive?

I am having the exact same issue, although on an original 360.  My HDD is official and I have had no other problems with 360 games.  I have also had an issue playing original xbox games, but I don't know if that is linked.

I have repeatedly downloaded the game, cleared the cache, restarted the console.  The game was initially purchased on 6/6/11 and the most recent download is 6/7/11.

It says no refunds, but the game flat out does not load and states to download again.

If you're having issues with other original games, then it does suggest an issue with the HDD. Zhenkell, where & when was the HDD purchased? Does a friend have one you can try on your console, to see if that allows you to use the content without issue?

I tried with my original 20gb hdd and it seems to work.  I guess that the other HDD wasn't official, even though it certainly looks authentic?  That is frustrating, because it has worked fine for all 360 games I've played on it.  I purchased it off ebay, so I guess that explains that.  I'll have to swap hard drives to play originals, it seems.
