No response from MS and now my post from last night is gone?

Correct me if I am wrong please- i just went back through pages of posts, I even subscribed to my own post- not there- no answer- no nothing- 

Man, that is the last thing I expected from a customer support forum- did my statement about how I felt about a class action suit makes you guys decide to just say nothing? 

Yeah- your guide says that there will be a response before anything is deleted. I did keep a copy last night- saved the page for future reference.I also took a picture, on film of course, as digital renderings are not allowed as evidence I have never taken anybody to court, but know this MS- I am of ways and means and I will not be treated like this- I will prove my point- and will spend to do that. And for the first time in my 50 years I guess I am going to small claims court....reading everybody's problems- man I am really appalled and the problems are from your product being defective, period. I have come to that conclusion. Hard working people, like me- should not have to deal with support for hours and hours. MS should not be messing around with the obvious thousands upon thousands of people that are having problems

The solution is that MS replace my defective unit. Immediately. With no terms- no send me yours and wait 30 days, I demand a replacement be sent immediately. I am throwing my Elite (Should be DElite) in the trash. That is all it is- junk.

Any smart young attorney should be jumping all over this with a class action suit.

I am a very disappointed customer.

Support, as I requested last night, with no response, of course- message me within an hour and I will forward a reply with my phone #.

Mister Fitzer did post.  I remember reading your thread, it was titled "F**K ______"  right?  I only remember the first word but there is a time for finesse and a time to yell.  You should just calm down with all this law suit stuff.  Micro$oft owns everything, even the stuff they sell to you.

Well, someone with the same gamerpic, and problem posted a thread very similar, even talked about "Class action law-suits"  with the title F**k Open disc tray error or something, but my apologies, must've been a mistake.

Either way,  Suing won't work.  You can just call them up and they will explain how you agreed to their terms of service and terms of use.  They own your gamertag, your Xbox, and they can do whatever they want with them technically.

I would just be calm and call customer support.  Actually call them, and be level-headed and try to figure out a way where you can be happy, because suing a huge company isn't going to help.

 

ps: if you are thinking of throwing away your Elite, fedex it to me and I will pay for shipping.  The least anyone could do is take your obviously FUBAR'd system off your hands.

It mightve been deleted, or just buried by the countless other threads coming up daily.  I would suggest bookmarking your threads.

Let us do this again. You are wrong. I would never be as unprofessional to title a thread with that word- one that I detest- do not use, and hate to hear. You are certainly wrong.

Did you incorrectly delete my thread? I can send you a picture- if you like.

This has gone past the point of being ethical.

I called, and was told to do what I had already done, from the online suggestions. Then I was told to send it to Bill with a bill. I cleared the cache- removed the hd and plugged it back in. Some awesome solutions, there, MS. And if these do not work, I have to pay? Trust me, I will quit MS before I do that. Linux is faster- I do not use windows online- already. There are good alternatives, be assured.

Your next suggestion? What am I left with? Go to small claims? I will- and at this point, that is the only option I appear to have been left with.

my 4th post was supposed to be the above post, I posted it and it disappeared. I rewrote it in the above post. Another 2 hours spent on this.

And what do you know- after 2 days of OTE after hitting the green- including 10 attempts to load this eve....

I am loaded up *shakes head and throws arms in the air*

Yes. The whole series. 3 times. My disc is good- my unit is in a sealed and cooled environment. 68F to be exact. No dust, period. I did wipe the disc, everything. Even though I have never cleaned a disc before- do not have to. I am clean.

That is why my 10 yr old Dells still perform flawlessly.

So yeah mate- been through it all. I do not know what else I can do- MS solution...send it to Bill. That is just so wrong.

 I hope Bill sleeps good at night, knowing all the thousands that are dealing with this. What blatant disregard, for problems that so many are having. Especially when you have such a loyal customer base...the money that each person spends is hard earned income- and is a good amount if you total it all up- even on the individual  level.

I hate to break this to you, but BIll Gates has not been the CEO of Microsoft for some time now. Are you having problems with your disk tray not opening or is the disk drive not reading the disk?
