I can't purchase anything from xboxlive.com or xbox console

I'm trying to by microsoft points and the marketplace is saying my payment method can't be authorized.  I'm getting this message for every payment method try.  I'v called my provider and they are saying the charges are being accepted but that they are $0 so nothing happens.  I would rather use xbox live than wait to get a prepaid card.  Is there anything I can do?  I was able to buy a Gold membership so I'm not sure why I can't buy anything else?

Since you've already called your provider, call support and talk to billing to see what's going on with your account.
