Halo 4 War Games won't load...

This started for me about a week ago.  I go to start any multiplayer game mode and I go through the steps (i.e. searching for players, voting for map) but when the map starts to load one of two things happen: 1. It kicks me back to the "searching for players" screen, or 2. It displays the rotating UNSC eagle logo, then kicks me back to the start screen.

I spent almost two hours on the phone with Microsoft support, going through all of the steps the tech could think of.

We cleared the system cache, deleted and re downloaded all of the dlc content for halo 4, deleted and then re installed disc2, deleted the xbox dashboard update then re installed, and even did a license transfer for all of the halo content on my hd.  There were a few more steps in there that I cant remember, but needles to say this is a huge bummer!!!

I play halo for the multiplayer.  This is huge bummer!

If any one out there has any ideas as to what I can do, I'm all ears.

Hey there,

sorry to hear of your problem, but my friend experienced something similar to this, and he is from the UK, if you are from the UK aswel, then it could possibly be connection/NAT for your xbox. It does work as it does let you load a load but then kicks you, so that to me says that it is your connection, if it has been going on for about 2 weeks (by now) and wasnt happening before this period then im guessing its on temporary.

Needless to say though, the campaign solo LASO is there for you to do :)

.

Utterly incorrect, and it hasn't got anything to do with his connection. I would assume it's a damaged disk but the OP would have to confirm their disk had been recently damaged.

Try loading custom games, if those don't work then your disk is probably damaged somehow. If it does work and you are having no luck online, check your router settings. Ping your ip address, and if you are not receiving any packets then you will need to fix your connection. Your Nat may also be very strict. It could be anything, so check everything.
