For those with Netflix Video Quality Issues, please try this and report your findings.

I hope that we can collect this data to help MS or Netflix find out whats going on with the streaming issues.  To start with, go to Netflix and Search for the title "Example Short 23.976".  There will be other titles that say Example Short 23.976 I, II, III, or IV.  Do not choose those.  Choose the one I specified without the roman numeral.  

When you play this video, it embeds the stream that it's receiving.  So on screen you will see, Resolution and Bitrate in yellow.

So please post the following from all your Netflix enabled devices:

Day - Time 

Device - Bitrate- Resolution

Example:

12/14/2013 - 8:00 AM EST

X1 - 5800 kbps - 1920x1080
PS4 - 5800 kbps - 1920x1080
iPhone5 - 3000 kbps - 1280x720

Note to those testing.  Please mute your receiver or tv while testing.  They play certain test tones that are annoying.

X1 - 3000 kbps - 1280x720   Took quite awhile to get there

PS4 - 3000 kbps - 1280x720. Took about a min.  

iPhone5 - 3000 kbps - 1280x720  took about 30 secs

Interesting, isn't 5800kbps "super hd" on Netflix? Didn't see x1 listed in superhd compatible devices yet, maybe this is fixed. I'll run this test later and verify on my x1

I'm getting an amazingly pathetic 750 kbps and 512x384 at 3pm 12/14 on uverse 50 mbit connection on my x1

Edit: now seeing 1750 720x480 on x1

Get 3000kpbs on my surface rt at 1280x720 almost immediately.. will try x1 again.

Same network, but surface is WiFi compared to wired x1

Now I get 5800kpbs and 1920x1080 on xb1, must just be cached to my region now..

Well, at least this conforms x1 is Super HD :) anyone have a 3d TV to test 3d on x1?

IPhone5 3000 kbps 1280x720 instantly

I traditionally watch Netflix on my AppleTV Gen 3, the quality is always excellent, It is connected wifi but is near router. When I got my XBox One, I connected it wifi at the same tv as the AppleTV. I had good video on day 1, but low quality on day 2, but also with Amazon Prime video. I moved the XBox One to ethernet and the video got better for a period. Unfortunately the quality is often low.

AppleTV 5800  at 1920x1080  (Went immediately to that, dropped to 3800 shortly and back up)

X1 (first test) 3800 at 1920x1080 (started at 5xx and then climbed)

X1 (second test) 5800 at 1920x1080 (started at 5xx and climbed)

I would guess that Netflix may be treating the client differently - but since I also have problems with Amazon Prime video, I would blame the X1.
