Debit Card not working after buying points

It could be a random security check by your bank.  I would suggest you contact them first and see if your card has been blocked.  Also you check your account is up to date by visiting https://billing.microsoft.com

I purchased some points with paypal using my debit card and I was about 400points short for this game and they would not accept payment from the same people PAYPAL 10 minutes later and I don't think every ones account is out of date I know mine is up to date but you won't let  me do bussiness with you Y

Called the bank, said there was nothing is wrong with the card and nothing is blocked. All the info is triple checked and is all the same, and still doesn't work.

Are you unable to purchase content with any payment method, or just this one?

After ringing them again they can't let me use paypal for some reason but as I have a debit card not a credit card the man on the other end for microsoft tells me that most people use the add credit card and put their debit card details in and purchase that way I was dubious about this as with Paypal you don't have top disclose your bank/card information so I changed my payment method to credit card filled in add credit card with my debit card details and I can purchase online with my debit card. Microsoft also tells me that over 50% of credit card details are actually debit cards and not credit cards I hope this has been of some help Good luck outlawlattice3.
