Castlevania HoD not playable offline?

My router has been acting up again recently with the wireless, constantly kicking me off and I decided to just go on HoD on single player. When I loaded it up, I got a message saying something like "Content not available offline" or something along those lines. Anyway, it wouldn't let me play any of the DLC levels whilst I wasn't online, on of my items that I got from a DLC level ahd vene disappeared from my inventory oddly enough.

I purchased the DLC on my Xbox so I know that it's not linked to another system, so I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

My main GT has no problems accessing offline, the only time I've seen it was with an alt account I use. Are you playing with the GT you bought it with?

Yeah I'm using the same GT I purchased it all with. I really don't understand why it does it at all :S
