Annihilation + Old Purchased Map Packs Wont Download

Have you changed ISP since you purchased the other map packs? There have been known issues with the ISP gateway not allowing the download(s). Have you moved recently?

Nothing at all has changed, and i orignally paid for and downloaded map pack 1&2 on this box, now cant even re-download them.

I checked out everything on this forum that is sugested and nothing has worked.

I have 20MB broardband and get full speed downloads

I checked with 3 other people on the same island  (jersey channel islands)  and they cant download the pack either.

And i found mentioned in posts here 3 other people that cant download from jersey.

I hope this is sorted by tomorrow

i cant down load it i have not moved or changed internet thing like bt and that but mine all get stuck on 79 % and stop and say i cant down load it it takes the **** !!!!!!!1

The annihilation map pack compatability post doesn't answer any questions about the Channel Islands. We should be able to download it as we are part of the UK, it's not like everyone in the channel islands is doing something wrong.

All we want is an update on the progress on fixing this and I have no idea on where to find one!

I'm in the same boat, downloaded both previous map packs when they came out but this one keeps giving me "not available in your location"

Same as the other guys in Jersey CI, and no i haven't changed any settings since the last map pack.

A solution instead of  "look at this post" would be helpful or some idea of what has been done to cause this problem for everyone

it again depends on your situation if you read the blackops forums posts

it is due to lag if you are A invalid region error lag doesn't happen all the time and cannot be predicted

best bet is not 9am -9pm as everyone including their mother downloads it during peak times

if you are valid then you must wait till your country is supported or create the proper account for your actual region

not only does that compatibility post applies

but your SPEEDTEST results do play into it

basic troubleshooting does relieve some headache

reseting a router and modem does actually help sometimes

I downloaded map pack 1&2 with no problem, my region settings are correct and unchanged since downloading them.

now i cant download mappack3,  or the purchased 1&2 packs

Same location, IP, xbox, settings, game Cd etc

I will have to guess you are using JT broadband, they have their own ip ranges and sometimes don't show as UK registered, of the people i know who have downloaded in Jersey successfully they are on Newtel which has UK registered IP ranges.

Whomever Microsoft or Treyarch are using for their loaction based services can't have Jersey set as UK based.

As I downloaded the other 2 map packs successfully it makes me think they have recently made some changes and have forgotten to include some offshore but  UK isp ranges.

It would be nice to get a clear answer instead of going round in circles looking at settings which haven't changed.

Over to you Microsoft and Treyarch figure it out and get it sorted.
