i got my xbox 360 less than a month ago and i currently have a free 1 month trial of xbox live gold membership. i have an exclusive offer for one month of xbox live gold membership for $1. if i buy this now will it start now or when my 1 month free trial is up?

You can stack up to 3 years of live I believe, so it will kick in when the free month ends.

You need to be careful, when you purchase the $1 one month it is only for the first month. The next month will be full price, because of auto-renewal. You need to call support to turn off auto-renewal.
