xbox live in U.S.A

I purchased my xbox live in Canada and my live is a Canada account but i am in the states for 2 weeks and would like to connect to play live and i am having trouble will my Canada account not work in u.s.a? or can i just go buy another card and purchase live for the states?

Unfortunately issues will arise not only when using subscriptions from other countries, but accounts from other countries, too. In order to play on LIVE without issue in the US, you would need a US Gamertag and gold subscription.
