LA Noire

I like it. It's alot different than what I thought though. You can't really compare it to games like GTA or RDR though. You really have to pay attention to the story and the cut scenes to tell if someone is lying or being truthful. Gathering evidence to prove them wrong if they have lied.

The free roam on the game is a bit of a let down though, you can't free roam until you have reached a certain point in the game. Even then, you have to branch away from the main story to do it. (Until you complete the game so I'm told) But other than that it's a quality game. Unsure about game of the year like others are suggesting.

It's a game you must at least try. It's a shame there isn't a demo avaliable for download.

As Akradon you cann't compare it to gta/rdr.  But the use of facial features will blow you away.  It is a game you should at least try.

It's decent, very different to anything else i've played before. As said above nothing like RDR or GTA, it's all about finding evidence and convicting people.

It's not difficult at all even if you get questions wrong the game doesn't really punish you, you just carry on.

Cant you see the other threads about this, are you blind or something

I think I will be picking this up in the week. In some way I was hoping it would not be compared to RDR and GTA as i want it to be its own game setting the standards for itself.

It's a great game with a bit of a different approach.

You'll spend more time performing investigations and interviewing witnesses and suspects than you will actually pulling your gun and shooting crooks behind the eyes.

This is a great looking game and the city is sprawling.

Cases are presented in episode form which breaks up the gameplay nicely.

You can get a nice fulfilling chunk of gaming doen without feeling trapped for hours or that things are over in a flash.

Definately worth picking up.

For me the gun battles and the vehicle damage are a big let down , to much has been focused on the facial recognition with the rest of the game sadly lacking behind

Well thats the whole point of the game,how can it be a let down you should have known this before you bought it.

How can it not be a let down? I am not saying the game is a let down just these 2 aspects to the game 

I am aware most of the game is about the facial focus which is excellent but I feel these aspects in the game are very poor
