Cant move profile from Xbox to USB, Or even delete profile from Xbox

Hello

I own several Xbox's and I want to move my main account from 1 xbox to another.

Just last week I used a USB flash drive i own, to move my main account from 1 xbox to another. so I know it works fine

However just then... I tried to move my main account from 1 xbox onto the USB drive and It said "Cant perform Action, There was a problem performing that action"

I tried to delete the account off the xbox so I could recover it but I also got: "Cant perform Action, There was a problem performing that action"

so now im stuck, any ideas?

You can recover your account back to the other Xbox by signing onto Xbox live and simply recovering it. An update several updates ago allows your account to be saved to more than just one console. As far as the issue with the account not deleting or being able to move, check for corruption on the memory the and delete accordingly. Try clearing the cache as well by highlighting your device under memory and pressing Y to begin device maintenance.

When I try to Recover the account it says Hello T3ddy B4gW3LL, downloading your account. But then:

"Cant perform Action, There was a problem performing that action"

pops up

And this is on the Xbox which does not have the account on it and connected to xbl?

no. on the xbox that does have it on. I was hoping it would over write it. I can move Silver accounts from Xbox to USB drive fine. But not my main Gold account.

Just tried to recover my main account again... and got this error: Sorry Xbox LIVE profiles cant be downloaded right now, Try again later

Which Explains why I cant recover it. However it does not explain why I cant transfer my main account from xbox to USB drive. I have also cleared my system cache

As far as USB moving, try reformatting your USB drive to fat32 on a PC and move over to your console and reformat it with your console for only Xbox use. Try that.

again it does not work, however... Ive read that by having my main account set to auto login.... was the problem. So for future note:

having your main account set to auto login when turned on is the problem. go into preferences and turn auto login OFF and it then works
