Error "Fatal error 1935 MSI.scan" when scanning using HP printer

Original Title: Fatal error 1935 MSI.scan

 

I have windows 8 and an hp printer scanner copier. Scan would not work and during process of downloading HP installation wizard I got the fatal error 1935 but when I google it, the responses only refer to win 7 or XP.

Any thoughts on my next step?

I would suggest you to follow the steps given in the link given below. You can follow the same steps for Windows 8 and try.
