ASUS-UL50VT-A1 Laptop Windows 7 x64 Reinstall Problem?

I was having lots of problems with my laptop so I tired the system restore option that comes default with ASUS UL-Series Laptops, It started restoring, got to around 0% and then in big red letters: ERROR. I couldn't find a way to fix this, so I tired reinstalling windows 7 with my Upgrade Copy. I selected custom, then deleted the old partitions and made a new one, started to install windows, then at the installing windows updates and features I got an error message saying something like one of the installation files were corrupt. I rebooted, selected a partition, formatted it, and I got a error message saying that the drive may fail soon and I need to select another drive. I rebooted, then it shows not a single drive I can select. In the bios my PC recognizes the drive, its just in the windows x86 or x64 screen it says that I need to select a driver to prepare for a mass drive installation or something like that. Any Souloutions?

Any PC supplied with win preinstalled comes with a means of restoring, its nothing specific to Asus. Usually if you only have a restore partition theres a means of accessing this hiden partition to create the restore disks, which it sound like you didnt do.

If you laptop had a problem and you tried to restore to factory specs, and that restore failed, then you need to contact Aus support.

And since you received a msg that your drive has a problem, then that is probably whats wrong, so contact Asus support.
