No Sound Error: The device is being used by another application.

Original Title: Sound "Device in Use" on Laptop

I have a Lenovo T30 with a Realtex Audio device. When I start my laptop I have sound but at somepoint it stops. I don't know what is causing it.

If I right click on the speaker and perform a test I get "Devise in Use" .. "The device is being used by another application."

I have checked the Device Manager and no problems are showing. I have tried stopping / starting the service but this doesn't change anything.
