After ten years in forums daily I've never seen a good outcome with RAID. Even a mirror or RAID1 designed to protect data if one drive fails, has always still resulted in the loss of all data.
With today's huge drives, real time backup and lightning fast SSD's there is no good reason for RAID except to learn the hard way.
To reinstall do this gold standard Clean Install which compiles the best possible Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy:
