Not helpful!
What I want is for the text to not be microscopic. I want the text size across the board to be larger and easier to read, without screwing up the appearance of everything. There were ways to select text size in previous versions of windows. Now there's just the slider in the appearance tab, and if you use it, it messes up everything at larger zooms. I don't want to zoom - I just want larger text!
While we're at it - how do you make the text larger on internet explorer 11?

Hi,
It sounds like your device has been updated (upgraded) to version 1703 (the Creators Edition). For some odd reason the setting for this has been removed in the Creators Edition.
Because of this, WinTools has created a tool that restores this functionality, it is safe, free to use, and it works great. Here's the link:
https://www.wintools.info/index.php/system-font-size-changer
Let us know how it goes,
-Richard
