They are a scam. I called them. They said they will fix my computer in 90 minutes. For 60 minutes the guy just clicked refresh and open and closed browsers. Then he said that i had to pay them because they use paid software's. I saw him download a free software. I then read that they were scams and then i rebooted my computer.

I stupidly fell for this, gave them $199.99.  they cleared the "hacked" message that displayed on my screen ( with their phone number, of course).  spent 30 min or so ghosting my pc, loaded some software, then told me everything ok.  anyone know how to fight this and retrieve $$?  and should I also be worried that I gave them access to my pc?

was going to report to FTC, but when I tried Global Computer Support's website, they seem to be legit, based in UT, with tech support in India...how do you know if they're really a scam?!
