My Bluetooth LE devices aren’t reconnecting as expected after installing the Creators Update

I recently installed the Windows 10 Creators Update and now my Bluetooth LE devices aren’t reconnecting to my PC as expected. They take much longer to reconnect than before the update. Any suggestions?

Hi Harold,

Try running the Bluetooth troubleshooter first to see if that helps. You can find it here in Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot under Find and fix other problems.

If that doesn’t help, close Settings and give your device some time to reconnect. It may take longer than usual.

We are aware that some users with Broadcom radios may have experienced Bluetooth LE device connection issues (while Settings is open) after upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update. We have resolved the issue in a recent Windows update, and devices with Broadcom radios will once again be offered the Creators Update.  If you are still experiencing this issue, please make sure you've installed the latest Windows updates.

If these steps don’t help, you can share your feedback in the Feedback Hub. You can vote on existing submissions, which adds your vote to a known issue seen by others, or submit your own so other users can add their vote to yours. When you submit a feedback item we can gather additional details and information about your issue that will help Windows engineering figure out what’s causing it and address it. Windows engineering triages feedback items regularly and posts responses to submissions in the app so you can see what we are doing about your feedback. So, check back frequently to see the status of your feedback items.

To submit feedback, please follow these steps:

1.       Search for “Feedback Hub” in Cortana search, then launch the app.

2.       Navigate to Feedback in the left menu, then press + Add new feedback.

3.       Select the Problem button, share any details you think are relevant, and choose an appropriate category and subcategory.

4. Important: If possible, reproduce the problem(s) after clicking Begin monitoring (or Start capture) near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you’re done.

5. Once you’ve completed the form and monitoring, click Submit.

6. Click Continue using Feedback Hub.

7. Click My feedback at the top, then find the item you submitted (it may take a while to appear).

8. Open the item you submitted, then click Share.

9. Click Copy link, then paste the link here in your response.  (It will look like https://aka.ms/<unique link>.)

Regards.
