Can I turn off Word as the email editor in Outlook 2010?

I think the answer is no, but I wanted to double check.  Thanks for any confirmation!

I want to turn off Word as the editor to see if there is an issue with the way its displaying HTML emails.

The answer is indeed no. Why do you want to change it?

Note that, unlike previous versions of Outlook, you are not actually in Word; Outlook 2010 has a completely new editor which only makes use of the Word 2010 rendering engine.
