Personal Vault in OneDrive MacOS

Just curious if there is a plan to enable personal vault through OneDrive App on the MacOS?  Currently the only way to access the vault is via a web browser on MacOS.

unfortunately, we need the personal vault in mac because is no functional the personal vault via the only web.

This is very unfortunate.  It basically makes the "Personal Vault" a worthless feature for me since it can't be accessed natively on a Mac.

In this article: Protect your OneDrive files in Personal Vault, we know that Personal Vault is available from OneDrive on the web, the mobile app, and from your Windows 10 PC. This feature is not available in OneDrive on macOS at present.

 

Really sorry for the inconvenience caused by this problem, we can understand your feelings and we are also expecting this feature can be released in OneDrive on macOS. We would like to suggest you vote for this idea in OneDrive Feedback by UserVoice: Personal Vault access via MacOS just like Win10. Your votes can help to contribute this feature to reality since the related develop team will adopt high votes ideas to bring better user experience.

Right now we are using a Mac-based solution since most of are workstations are Macs, and have work arounds in place for other platforms.

Personal Vault would solve this issue very well if it existed on Mac.  Our entire company would probably migrate to OneDrive.

This is unfortunate. I just upgraded to O365 only to get the Personal Vault feature, and realised that this does not work.

This is helpful but somewhat disappointing that Personal Vault is not available for macOS. I have Personal Vault on my Iphone (13.1.3) but I can't get it on my iPad Pro (13.2.2). Confusing. Any advice is appreciated.

No one is feeding anyone baloney.

Being available in a web application and being available natively in Mac OS are not the same thing.  

The OneDrive Mac App does NOT support the Personal Vault.

This answer is telling users that there is no intention at this point to make the Vault available on the Mac OS OneDrive. I wonder when MS will realise that the Vault in the cloud without the folder on the Mac is a ridiculous option. Do users really need to vote for this when it is a no brainer? How practical can a Vault be if one has to connect on the internet every time he/she needs to access the "protected" information? Please have some common sense and stop doing things half cooked for Mac users. Thank you.
