Buils 15031 Audio problems??

I just installed 15031 and audio did not work so had to install High Def Audio drivers to get sound.

Question is why don't VIA Win 10 drivers which have just been downloaded work???

  • What are the troubleshooting steps have you performed?
  • Have you tried running Audio Troubleshooter before installing High Def Audio drivers?
  • May we know what Sound card your computer has and the driver version which was not working.

Yes I did all of the troubleshooting and sfc etc but it did not fix the problem.

This issue has happened before about a year ago with earlier build and had to fix it the same way.

Will post on feedback

I have reinstalled VIA Win 10 audio drivers and after reboot they work so not sure what is going on??
