Error code 0x80048888

Hello Everyone,

Lately I haven't been able to sign into Xbox from my PC, I keep getting error code 0x80048888. All drivers are up to date, the OS is up to date, and all installed apps are up to date. I even tried removing (and deleting all data) and reinstalling the apps but I still get the error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out to Xbox forums support. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues signing into your Xbox on your PC. You may need to try performing a clean boot to get it in working order. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. Here's a link on how to perform a clean boot in Windows.
