How to Find SSID (Network Name)

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. Select WLAN from the menu on the left.
  4. Your SSID will be listed as ESSID.

How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select WLAN.
  4. Your passphrase will be listed as WPA Shared Key or Key 1.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select WLAN.
  4. Use the Security Mode drop down to choose your desired security
  5. If WEP is selected, select the WEP Key Length (either 64-bit or 128-bit).  The password will need to be 10 characters in length (if 64-bit) or 26 characters in length (if 128-bit) and can only use 0-9 and A-F.
  6. If WPA or WPA2 is selected use the Encryption drop down to select your desired cipher type (TKIP preferred).  The password can be between 8-63 characters, is case sensitive and can use any character on your keyboard.
  7. Select Apply.

 

MAC Filtering

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the new menu on the left select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select Wireless MAC Filter
  6. Using the radio buttons on the Action line select Disable.
  7. Select Apply.

 

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the new menu on the left select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select LAN.
  6. From that sub-menu select Wireless.
  7. Using the Channel ID dropdown select your desired channel (channels 1,3,9,11)
  8. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Mode

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the new menu on the left select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select LAN.
  6. From that sub-menu select Wireless.
  7. Using the mode drop down select 802.11g only
  8. Select Apply.

 

DHCP Reservation

UPnP  

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu of that select Device Management.
  6. Toggle UPNP either to Disable or Enable depending on which stage of toggling you’re in.
  7. Select Apply.

 

 

DMZ

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select Virtual Servers
  6. From the sub-menu select DMZ
  7. Enter the xbox’s IP address into the Internal IP Address box.
  8. Select Apply.

 

 

 

Disable DMZ

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select Virtual Servers.
  6. From the sub-menu select DMZ.
  7. Remove the IP address from the Internal IP Address.
  8. Select Apply.

 

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select Virtual Servers.
  6. From the sub-menu select Port Mapping.
  7. Starting at the Application box enter Xbox Live.
  8. Using the Protocol drop down select all.
  9. Select the xbox from the Internal IP Address drop down.
  10. In the External and Internal Port boxes enter 3074.
  11. Select Add.

 

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu select Configuration.
  5. From the sub-menu select Virtual Servers.
  6. From the sub-menu select Port Mapping.
  7. Using the radio button on the left of your rule select your port forward rule.
  8. Select Edit/Delete then confirm the deletion.

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Advanced.
  4. From the sub-menu on the left select status.
  5. The Firmware version will be listed as Software Version.

*Due to the age of this device firmware is no longer hosted online so this feature is unusable.*

 

Restore Factory Defaults

 

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Using a toothpick or tip of a ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the device for 15 seconds or until all the ethernet lights flash in unison.

 

Entering PPPoE

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Quick Start.
  4. As you go through the Quick Start setup you will be prompted to enter your PPPOE info to setup your internet connection.
  5. Complete the Quick Start setup to finish the process.

 

 

Known Issues

There are no known issues with this device.

 

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
