Netflix Troubles

I just recently signed up for Netflix and last night on my Xbox 360 I was having issues while viewing with someone from my friends list. We watched a selection that they suggested from their instant queue. After that we were trying to pick out another movie to watch. This is where the issues started. Netflix would not allow us to suggest movies to each other. Movies in my friends queue or even movies from different categories, the option wasn't there to suggest these... So we both looked at random movies to see if we could figure it out. Some movies it would allow you to suggest and others it wouldn't. I know it not due to what the movie was rated because certain movies it would allow us to watch. So basically I am trying to figure out why certain movies and movies we have in our instant queue were not available to suggest to each other or watch...
