Proof? You seem to have forgotten your citation in this information. I actually have fun running through all the characters once in a while. Some people only main a couple anyway, so this isn't a surprise, if true. SF has it's share of the same.

I don't play online but I see vids of some descent amount of different characters being used. But yeah alot of people's main's pretty much revolve around the same base characters but I have met a person who uses Sheeva and I use Baracka quite often but if I was to play online I wouldn't feel that comfortable using him. But yeah the short sided roster maybe just the fact that people want to use their favorites they are good with to win as much as possible. I know I wouldn't be using hardly any of the roster other than maybe 3 online.

Just played a Baraka yesterday in a player match so...

Have you ever played an online fighter before? This is how they all are when certain characters simply dominate over the other ones. In MK's case that would be Scorpion, Ermac, Cyrax, Smoke, Noob Saibot and Sub-zero from what I've seen. Usually the easier to use/easily spammable or exploitable characters wind up this way. People don't want to challenge themselves in trying to play with lesser used characters like Jax or a Cyber Sub-Zero.

well it seems pretty right but iseem to run into a lotta ermac spammers all the time. really hes easily defeated with block

Personally i have to have atleast 3-5 players i use online so i dont get bored of using 1 character the whole time. haha sick quan chi is one of the 3 least used characters used,(not including Skarlet) and i use him more then any1 else online.
