Lag

Nope... been pretty bad for me lately. I seem to connect to nothing but foreign hosted servers lately. Ive been told by a friend that theres only a few servers left hosted due to downsizing for BF3.

well ...its only like 5 months till BF3 sooo.....

the wait for BF3 seems to be moving quicker than the wait for Nam.

I rarely ever lag while playing this.

too true.....but summer might be the reason, lots more to do when I'm not working.....spending alot of time on the Snake and various other water bodies tearing it up on Seadoo's ....swimming...fishing.....target shooting......laying in my hammock.....video games are back seating it right now

Typical DICE server activity when a new game is being launched in the near future.  Modern Combat, BC1 and now BC2 all had tremendous lag right before the next Battlefield launched.  Heck, EA servers lag even after the new game launches...LOL

Just because a few of you rarely experience what most of us do doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I can rarely even finish a game anymore because it's so hard to kill people or it takes 2 seconds for something to happen that I do. I'm almost to the point to putting this game on the shelf and just waiting until BF3 comes out but those rare instances where I get almost lag free servers keeps me playing.

I have been having minimal, if any lag lately.  I stopped playing this game a number of months ago when teh rubber banding was so common, but since I started playing again, its been pretty flawless.  Im on the west coast, if that helps any

thought lag on regular bfbc2 was bad, vietnam is like walking thru water at times, did they just stop supporting bfbc2 like they did to 1943 or what?

Yeah I tried to play a couple games with ZD and RC and the lag was unbearable. To make matters worse there's nothing to watch on Netflix.
