How do I get my Dawnguard DLC

Hi,

I'm from Austria, where for some reason I do not have access to the new DLC, and I own a UK copy of Skyrim.  I was looking forward to it all day long and now I find out that it's not available because of some region limitations, which honestly in the year 2012 I find really embarrassing. World Wide Web my a**.

I have a lot of UK games at home and so far I never had any problems downloading DLC for them. I'm just worried that once the DLC will finally be available for me, it will be the badly translated German version which won't run with my UK game. So maybe someone has a similar problem, or someone knows a way to get the DLC (legally of course). Thanks.

If you want the DLC in your region, you should contact the developer.

I'm sure it will be out in my region, sooner or later, but I need the UK content as my game is from there. I don't want a badly dubbed german version, else I would have bought that. Chances are the DLC won't even work with my game once it's available. I'm also quite sure that it's Microsofts decision to not make content available in certain regions.

Actually, content/game availability in certain regions is due to both the developer and the countries governments.  For instance, if you live in a country that does not have live service that is not xbox/microsoft's fault.  That is due to limitations within the countries government policies.
