I've reduced my load (<100), and left my companions at the lucky 38, but i still cant start quest. That guy keep telling me to get rid of my companions, but i dont have any! anyone care to help me, please?

Yup I'm stuck Too have tried leaving my followers at thier start points Lucky 38 etc, have removed game from drive and patch and HH. reload it all no luck. Jed just keeps saying I can only go alone still Does anyone have a clue how to fix this

[/quote]Well it worked for me. Told Boone to go back to the Lucky 38 (where everyone else is) and boom, I was in Utah before I could even say i'm ready.

I stand corrected Cap'n.....I'd left my companions in the L38 with the "wait here" command, and that doesn't work. Even when you're already there you need to tell them "go back to L38"......guess it has something to do with releasing the perks?

Telling companions to "wait here" does not dismiss them, it just makes them stand in one spot waiting for further orders. They are still considered part of your group.
