Blu Ray Problem

Hello,

I've got a problem with the Blu Ray player of my Xbox One. I tried to watch  the Blu Ray game of thrones season 1, but it didn't work. If I insert the disk the App starts but then I have just blackscreen and jumping to the main menu doesn't work as well. The strange is yesterday it worked without any problem. The Xbox plays other Blu Rays and DVDs without an problem.

I'm having a similar issue with the Xbox One Blue Ray player.

I own the Bond 50 BR set and when I insert the disc for Goldfinger, the App starts, and the red FBI warning screen comes up, followed by the "comments and opinions" disclaimer, but after that, it goes to a black screen and stays there. Other discs from the same set work just fine, but that one in particular gets hung up for some reason.

I've tried all suggestions I've found on the forums (power cycle, re-installing the BR app, clearing the persistent storage, hold onto the disc an extra second when the drive pulls it in, etc.) and none have fixed the issue.

Same problem here..some of the Bond 50 set play fine, some don't they crash after the "commentaries don't reflect" screen and the little spinning dots start, then I get a black screen. They all play fine on my PS4. I have an Day One XBox One. This is very frustrating.

I have got the same problem! Game of thrones first season. Yesterday it worked fine. I tried: reinstall br player, factory reset of the xbox one s, offline update via usb stick, all the little tricks like 24hz deactivated, delete the br cache, sound and language settings,.....

Anybody who can help????

I went through the whole set and there are 5 that the Xbox One will not play (Goldfinger, The Man with the Golden Gun, Moonraker, The World is Not Enough, and Quantum of Solace). It plays all others from the set just fine, but gets hung up on those 5 right before it should go to the menu. It just sits in black after the "commentaries" disclaimer and the spinning dots, just as FTracy3 described.  I've even tried it with a friend's set. Same 5 discs have the same issue.

Does the blu ray app need a firmware update? That seems to be the common result I've gotten in my research of the issue.

certain Blu-ray Discs do this. The problem is that Microsoft have updated the disc soft ware for the Xbox one x.
