SERIOUS PROBLEM - NOT HAPPY

When I tried to download todays update  it failed several times even thoguh my connection is flawless. It did this for the previous update too so like that one I went on xbox.com and downloaded the usb version. After this had been installed I cannot view messages, friends list (anything to do with online) and after a long loading circle I get the message : This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later Status Code: 80072ee2.  I have tried numerous times through out the day to the same message. I see this as unacceptable for a paying gold account as everything I haver paid for are unavailable. In addition, I cannot play online as evey game I launch, I am disconnected promptly and cannot sign in until I restart the console. If I do not recieve a reply I will ring and complain for this lack of commitment to paying Live customers.

Keep it in the one thread - forums.xbox.com/.../238558.aspx - Making a new one isn't going to change the answers you'll get people.

So you have not been able to download and install the update, correct? You will need to install the update via USB or CD, then. Please let me know it goes.

i had the same problem so i had to install and apply the update 3 times. took over 2 hours but it was worth it :)
