Question about warning label on Xbox one package

Hello. First of all, this is not a troll post.
I have noticed a warning label on my Xbox one package:
"Laser radiation - Do not look directly into the beam. 1mW> 2nm+- 654nm"
What does it mean? The thing is, I connect the device to a PC monitor and therefore I sit near the console. Is there cause for concern or is it alright to sit near the console?

Thanks!

You're fine :) its just warning you about the Blu-ray laser.

The warning is for the optical audio laser as well as the BluRay disc laser - no real need for concern with normal use. You would only need to worry about it if you stare into the disc slot or the optical audio output port on the back of the console, which most people are intelligent enough not to do so.

Don't worry. As it's been said, looking into the laser under normal operation would be pretty much impossible.  You would have to be looking directly at the beam.  The Blu-ray drive is sitting inside the machine which means you can't look directly into the beam anyway.  The machine is not emitting harmful radiation or anything.

This is here just because it has to be.
