Not receiving promotional emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Ok, so I don't remember the last time I got an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. It's been quite a few years and it's doing my head in, I've lost count on how many times I have contacted Xbox Chat Live Support and they always tell me the same thing. They tell me that they opened up a case file and I should start receiving promotional emails again but I never do.

It's weird because I receive emails from Xbox Live Rewards, Billing info and even other Microsoft products but nothing from Xbox Engage. I really don't want to miss out on new promotions and updates.

I have done everything I can regarding my email, I have gone into contact preferences and have ticked both boxes for Microsoft to contact me, I have made sure my correct email address is listed correctly. I have also made sure the Xbox email is not on my blocked list, I have checked my spam inbox and everything else that I possibly can. As a long time Xbox Live Member this is quite discouraging that a simple issue like this cannot be fixed.

Can anyone help me? This has gone on long enough and no one has resolved my problem.

Hey buddy,

I have this issue too, and is due to my primary alias being different to my current email address.

When you log on to your microsoft account (https://account.microsoft.com) and click on "My Info" menu up the top, is the correct email address shown (the one you want the emails to go to)?

Hey there, thanks for your reply. When I sign into my account and click on 'Your Info' it shows my correct email address. It's just so weird that I can't receive promotional emails from Xbox at Engage, I do get emails from Xbox Live Rewards and billing info so this has me baffled. I've tried about everything now and can't find a solution, is there anything else I can try?

Have you tried checking your account Marketing Preferences?

This is happening to me as well and has been since April 2014 as near as I can figure out. It has nothing to do with whether the account is set up correctly, as it is. I just don't get the emails from @engage.xbox.com even after repeated refreshes of the info on all of those pages. My experience is almost word for word the same as yours TUFF 360 right down to getting the Rewards email and billing info. It is just weird

@SingCongButas25, as per my original post I have already made sure all my marketing preferences are set to allowed and all my information listed is correct. But thanks for your reply.

@Jayasdub, it's good to know I'm not the only one, before making this thread I did a quick Google search and there's threads dating back a couple of years with quite a few users experiencing the exact same thing. Unfortunately every thread goes cold and there's never a solution so it's quite discouraging, I was hoping as one last effort this forum could address the issue.

Hmmmmm.... that is interesting! From my knowledge, you've pretty much covered every base. I can't comment, as I've been having my own issues with my email address, so have not been receiving them either. I'm waiting to see if they come within the next month, at which point I'll be in the same boat as you.

Hopefully one of the support agents will chime in with some help :)

Yeah, hopefully a support agent swings by and can assist us further. But I'm not too sure what else they can suggest since I've pretty much done everything I can to be receiving promotional emails from xbox@engage.

So can an official support agent please comment on what to do? This is getting quite ridiculous that I've tried every single thing and am not receiving promotional emails from xbox at engage.
