How do I connect my Xbox 360E to my surround sound using an SPDIF cable?

I'm already using the HDMI on the Xbox for my TV.

How do I connect the Xbox to my surround sound since there's no SPDIF output anymore?

Turtle Beach makes a fairly cheap adapter that connects inline with the HDMI and extracts the audio and provides and optical out. Earforce HDAC

A lot of TV's do have optical out so I would double check to see if yours has one. Some only pass through a Dolby Pro Logic or similar mix while some pass along all the audio untouched.
