HDD has an old pc connection

 I bought a used HDD, did a Format and System Cache, got rid of everything left on it. When I open Music, Videos, it has a the last person's computer connection in the choices. How do I delete that? It doesn't do anything, just would like it to be cleaned.

Do you see an option to delete it there? If not, and if formatting the drive isn't doing the trick, it might not have the ability to be removed.

Hello gtr,

This might not be a solution for you, but I think it may be worth your trouble to take a look.  Under My Xbox > System Settings, there is a category called "Computers".  I know that there are options to Launch, Setup, or Disconnect a Media Center PC.  I don't know if that will work in your case, but it did mention media sharing at the Computers title pane.
