Need driver for Mobile Mouse 3000

My Mobile Mouse 3000 (model 1359) is not working :( I downloaded the IntelliPoint software and tried reconnecting/synchronizing the mouse (by pushing the buttons on the bottom of the mouse and USB - lights are solid green) but still the mouse does not respond.

So I go to the control panel (Windows XP 32-bit) to look up mouse - it is detected but it says that the drivers are missing. I'm having a heck of a time finding the driver(s) to download...can anyone send me a link?

Yes, download it again.  CRC errors indicate that there was an error in the transfer of the file from Microsoft.

If you have trouble, the direct hyperlink the official download page uses is:

  http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/3/B/13B6BCAA-603C-4F7C-B03E-2DC23E307D47/IPx86_1033_8.0.225.0.exe

The file should be 14,709,624 bytes long.  The MD5 checksum is 61d37880daca3f9049925621e199834e.
The SHA1 checksum is ed011df183df468e11315d785599573c20f8fd12.
