"Windows Service Centre" call saying to pay them to get virus fixed

In this scam cybercriminals call you and claim to be from Microsoft Tech Support. They offer to help solve your computer problems. Once the crooks have gained your trust, they attempt to steal from you and damage your computer with malware including viruses and spyware.

Although law enforcement can trace phone numbers, perpetrators often use pay phones, disposable cellular phones, or stolen cellular phone numbers. It's better to avoid being conned rather than try to repair damage afterwards.

Treat all unsolicited phone calls with skepticism. Do not provide any personal information.

We do not send unsolicited e-mail or make unsolicited phone calls to request personal or financial information or fix your computer.

If you receive an unsolicited e-mail message or phone call that purports to be from Microsoft and requests that you send personal information or click links,delete the e-mail or hang up the phone .

Microsoft customers are often targets of a scam that uses e-mail messages to falsely promise money. Victims receive messages claiming: "You have won The Microsoft Lottery!"There is no Microsoft Lottery. Delete the message.

If you have lost money to this scam, report it . You can also send the police report to Microsoft and we will use it to help law enforcement catch the criminals who send out these e-mails.

There is nothing at Google about Windows Service Centre for Sydney, Australia. 

And Team Viewer is a REMOTE Access Company for remote access to a Computer.

Windows Service Centre was not Microsoft.

That is a SCAM.

Contact your Bank and try to get payment cancelled.

And report them to the Police.

Download the Free Version from the link above.

Download, install, update and scan once a fortnight.

If neccesary, also scan with this Program

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6.2 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program.

Download, install and update it.

Once installed > Right-click on its Desktop Icon > Run as Admin

Then SCAN with it.

Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight.

Important re: Safe Mode

If you happen to find a problem that you can’t uninstall / delete, reboot the computer, and go into Safe Mode.

To get into Safe Mode, tap F8 right at Power On / Startup, and use UP arrow key to get to Safe Mode from list of options, then hit ENTER.

RESCAN your computer with your Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes and Spybot S & D while in Safe Mode.

If unable to install above Programs in Normal Mode:

Sometimes Trojans, Viruses, Malware, etc stop you installing and/or updating Programs to remove them.

If that happens, reboot into Safe Mode with Networking (from F8 list of Startup Options), and install, update and scan from there.
