Run time error`339`: Component `mscomct2.ocx` or one of its dependenceies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Since I upgraded fom Win 7Pro to Win 8 Pro I cannot get one of my software programmes to work properly,it worked okay on Win 7 Pro,i have tried all sorts of remedys from the internet but nothing works,i keep getting the following message Run time error`339`: Component `mscomct2.ocx` or one of its dependenceies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.i have tried to get it to run in compatabilty mode but the same error message keeps comeing up.The software installs okay,can someone give me any sort of ideas how I can stop this error message and get my software to work,this is the one piece of software I use every day,but for the last three weeks I have been unable to use it.very frustrating.Thank You.Robert

A quick and easy solution to this problem.

Simply follow the instructions below, download the file, install it and bingo, you're sorted.

This will save you having to reinstall Raceform Interactive but you can do this before a fresh install if you want.
