Windows 8 metro apps not working on my 1280x720 HD screen.
My monitor is 1280x720 resolution. And i have to set a low resolution 1024x768 for metro apps to work. It is weird viewing in that resolution. Please fix this microsoft. Or is there any way to set a 1280x768 resolution on windows?. The highest resolution
i get on windows is 1280x720.
The screen resolution you can get will depend on your monitor, your graphics adapter and the drivers for those two devices. Check the specs for both of these devices to see what both are capable of getting. Update the drivers if necessary (particularly the
graphics adapter). If possible then change the screen resolution to something higher.
If you have a desktop PC you may always consider upgrading your graphics adapter. Even the relatively cheap basic ones will deliver a higher resolution than you need. Of course, if the limiting factor is your monitor that would be more expensive.
